Which is Healthier?

ITALIAN MEAT LOAF

1 pound ground chicken or ground turkey
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 medium onion, chopped
5 garlic cloves, chopped
½ large sweet red pepper
1½ teaspoon dried Italian herb seasoning*
1½ teaspoon dried parsley
¼ cup Romano cheese
1 cup prepared pasta sauce

• In a pan with olive oil, sauté onion, garlic and pepper until tender. Remove from heat and transfer to a large bowl. Add ground poultry, Italian herbs, parsley and Romano cheese. Mix well. Place in an 8 by 5 inch loaf pan and top with pasta sauce. Bake at 350°F for 1 hour. Makes 4 servings.

*Italian herb seasoning consists of thyme, oregano, savory, marjoram, basil, rosemary and sage.
